Itinerary – Germany and Switzerland

Day 1 • Frankfurt
Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at your disposal in this city marked by its fascinating contrasts between the modern and the historical. Accommodation at the Hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt City **** or similar.

Day 2 • Frankfurt / Heidelberg / Black Forest

Breakfast and transfer to Heidelberg to visit its castle (admission included) and walk through the old town. Continuation to the Black Forest region. Free time during which you can take a short walk to the beautiful “Ravenna Gorge” or see the oldest chapel in the region. Typical Black Forest dinner and accommodation at the Best Western Hotel Hofgut Sternen **** or similar.

Day 3 • Black Forest / Lake Titi / Lindau / Füssen
Breakfast. Visit to a cuckoo clock workshop with a presentation on the manufacture of these clocks. Then you will visit a traditional farm where you can taste cheeses. At noon, stop at Lake Titi. Continuation to the small Island of Lindau located in Lake Constance, with spectacular views of the Alps. Departure to Fussen.
Accommodation at the Hotel Best Western Plus Füssen **** or similar.

Day 4 • Füssen / Neuschwanstein / Wieskirche / Oberammergau / Linderhof / Ettal Abbey / Innsbruck
Breakfast. Visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the “Mad King” (admission included). We continue to Oberammergau, a town famous for its Passion Play and its crafts. Visit to the Wieskirche church, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the afternoon, visit the Linderhof Castle (admission included).
Afterwards, a brief stop at the Benedictine Abbey of Ettal. Continuation to Innsbruck, in Austria. Accommodation at the Hotel Grauer Bär **** or similar.

Day 5 • Innsbruck / Bad Tölz / Munich
Breakfast and visit Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, with its modern architecture and historic buildings. In the afternoon, transfer to Munich, stopping on the way in the small spa town of Bad Tölz. Accommodation at the Hotel Holiday Inn Munich City Center **** or similar.

Day 6 • Munich
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the main attractions of Munich, capital of the state of Bavaria, ending in the main square “Marienplatz” to admire the famous carillon of the Town Hall. Leisure.

Day 7 • Munich / Zurich
Breakfast. At noon transfer to the train station. Travel by train or bus from Munich to Zurich (without a guide). Upon arrival in Zurich, transfer to your hotel. Accommodation at the Hotel Swissôtel Zürich **** or similar.

Day 8 • Zurich
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Zurich with its main monuments.
Departure to Rapperswil, the city of roses. Cruise on Lake Zurich (without accompanying guide). Arrival at Zürich-Bürkliplatz and return to the hotel on your own. Accommodation.

Day 9 • Zurich / Lucerne / Mount Titlis / Interlaken
Breakfast. Departure to Lucerne. Brief visit to the city and free time to walk around. At noon we continue towards Engelberg. Visit Titlis Mountain and its glacier with the Rotair revolving cable car. Continue to Brienz and visit the woodcarvers, then visit Interlaken at the foot of Mount Jungfrau. Accommodation at the Hotel Interlaken **** or similar.

Day 10 • Interlaken / Bern / Gruyères / Geneva
Breakfast. Departure from Interlaken bordering Lake Thun to reach Bern, a city located next to the Aare River with views of the Alps. City tour and continuation to Gruyères, an idyllic town with its impressive medieval castle. Accommodation at the Ramada Encore**** Hotel or similar.

Day 11 • Geneva / Montreux / Zermatt
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Geneva with its beautiful parks along the lake, the cathedral and the European headquarters of the UN. Travel towards Lausanne and Montreux, passing by the majestic Château de Chillon. Free time in Montreux. In the afternoon, visit the Rodano river valley to Täsch. From there you will take the railway to Zermatt, located at the foot of the impressive Matterhorn. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Alex **** or similar.

Day 12 • Zermatt / Nufenen Pass / Lugano
Breakfast. Free morning to walk or optional excursion to the Gornergrat summit.
Then return to Täsch to take the bus in the direction of the impressive Nufenen Pass to reach Lugano, Italian part of Switzerland. Accommodation at the Hotel De La Paix Lugano **** or similar.

Day 13 • Lugano / Lake Como / St. Moritz
Breakfast. Departure to Italy to admire the magnificent Lake Como.
Travel along the shores of the lake via Menaggio to Chiavenna in the Beggaglia valley. In Castasegna we enter Switzerland again arriving at the famous ski resort of St. Moritz. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Schweizerhof **** or similar.

Day 14 • St. Moritz / Chur / Vaduz / Zurich
Breakfast. Departure to the Julier and Chur pass to reach Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. Leisure. Then departure to Zurich through the Toggenburg region with its picturesque houses. Arrival at Zurich central station where the trip will end (estimated arrival around 5:00 p.m.).
