Itinerary – Beauties of Northern Spain

Day 1 • Madrid

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Lodging at the Hotel Florida Norte**** or similar.

Day 2 • Madrid / Zaragoza / Pamplona

Breakfast and departure to Zaragoza. Free time to visit the Basilica of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of Hispanicity. Continuation to Pamplona, ​​capital of the old Kingdom of Navarra. Free time to explore the city. We suggest an optional visit to walk along the famous route of the San Fermín bull run and taste the typical “pintxos”. Accommodation at the Hotel Tres Reyes**** or similar

Day 3 • Pamplona / San Sebastián / Bilbao

Breakfast and departure to San Sebastián, known as the Pearl of the Cantabrian Sea, with its magnificent Playa de la Concha. Free time and continuation to Bilbao.

Day 4 • Bilbao / Santilla del Mar / Covadonga / Oviedo

Breakfast. Free time to explore the city center and admire the spectacular architecture of the Guggenheim Museum. Departure to Santillana del Mar, a beautiful Cantabrian city that preserves the typicality of the old Spanish cities. Free time for lunch. We continue towards Asturias, arriving at the Sanctuary of Covadonga.

In the afternoon departure to Oviedo, which stands out for the beauty of its streets and its Cathedral, a World Heritage Site. Accommodation at the Hotel Exe Centro**** or similar.

Day 5 • Oviedo / Santiago de Compostela

Breakfast and departure to Santiago de Compostela, a World Heritage City, Christian pilgrimage center and end point of the Camino de Santiago. Visit of the city visiting the Plaza del Obradoiro and its Cathedral, dedicated to the Apostle Santiago. Accommodation at the Hotel Eurostars San Lázaro**** or similar.

Day 6 • Santiago de Compostela / Salamanca

Breakfast and departure to Salamanca, a beautiful university city whose historic center has been declared a World Heritage Site. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of the city. Accommodation at the Hotel Gran Corona Sol **** or similar.

Day 7 • Salamanca / Madrid

Breakfast and departure to Madrid. Arrival and free day to tour the city and visit its main museums. Late in the afternoon we will take a panoramic tour of illuminated Madrid (depending on the dates of the trip, it may take place during the day) and around the Plaza Mayor. Then, the possibility of optionally enjoying a “tapas” dinner.

Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic tour, from the old and traditional Madrid to the most modern and cosmopolitan, also passing through the mythical Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. In the afternoon we suggest an optional visit to the imperial city of Toledo. Accommodation.

Day 9 • Madrid

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and END OF THE TRIP.
