Itinerary – ANDALUSIAN ESSENCES 

Day 1 • Madrid / Córdoba
Departure from Madrid by AVE train (in economy class) to Córdoba. Arrival and transfer by private minivan to the hotel. In the afternoon, private tour of the city with a local guide. We will see the Mosque-Cathedral, witness of the Caliphate era. Next we will visit the Cordoba Jewish quarter to the Plaza del Gran Maimonides. Accommodation.

Day 2 • Córdoba / Seville
Breakfast. Transfer to the train station in a private minivan. Departure to Seville by AVE train (tourist class). Arrival and transfer to the hotel in a private minivan. In the afternoon, presentation on behalf of the clients at the pier, to take a 1-hour cruise along the Guadalquivir with audio-guide, on a regular boat. The ship has panoramic decks that allow you to enjoy the Sevillian monuments located on the banks of the Guadalquivir, such as the Torre del Oro or the Triana Bridge. In the evening, transfer by private minivan to the Andalusian Palace to attend a flamenco show (1 drink included). At the end of the show transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 3 • Seville
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the city in a private minivan with a local guide. We will discover the most emblematic Monuments of Seville: the University, the old Tobacco Factory where the story of Carmen (the protagonist of Bizet’s opera) took place, the Plaza de España, the Torre del Oro, the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter, the Plaza de los Venerables, the Reales Alcázares (the oldest Royal Palace in use in Europe) and the Cathedral (the largest in the world in Gothic style where the remains of Christopher Columbus rest).
Free afternoon. Accommodation.

Day 4 • Seville / Granada
Breakfast. Transfer in private minivan to Granada. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 5 • Granada

Breakfast. In the morning, visit the Alhambra in a private minivan with a local guide. We will take a tour of each of the parts that make up the “red fortress”: the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, where the Patio de los Leones is located, and the Generalife Gardens.
At the end, return to the hotel. Free afternoon. Accommodation.

Day 6 • Granada / Madrid
Breakfast. Transfer in private minivan to the airport or train station to take plane / train to Madrid (airfare or train ticket not included).


Extension to the White Towns

Day 6 • Granada / Málaga
Breakfast. Departure in private minivan to Malaga. In the afternoon, private walking tour of the historic center of Malaga with a local guide. Malaga has an important historical-artistic heritage, such as the Neo-Baroque Town Hall, the Episcopal Palace, the Pasaje de Chinitas and the majestic Cathedral, the largest monument in the city. Accommodation.

Day 7 • Málaga / White Towns / Málaga
Breakfast. In the morning, departure to visit the White Villages of Ronda, Marbella and Mijas in a private minivan with driver and guide. Ronda: it is located on a plateau divided by a gorge more than 100 meters deep. Its most emblematic place is the Puente Nuevo that connects both parts, along with the best-preserved Arab baths in the region and its bullring, one of the most unique in Andalusia.

Marbella: its historic center preserves a rich archaeological heritage, since it owes its origins to the Romans. From the Arab period it preserves the remains of a castle and the walls that surrounded the Muslim city, and from the Christian period we can see the Church of the Incarnation, the House of the Corregidor and the Hospital of San Juan de Dios.

Mijas: it has a peculiar architecture reminiscent of the Arab reign. You can visit the spectacular Virgen de la Peña church and enjoy the magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea from the Paseo de la Muralla. Return to Malaga and accommodation.

Day 8 • Málaga
Breakfast. Transfer by private minivan to the airport or train station.
