XACOBEAN NAUTICAL JOURNEY
OPERATION: Available all year round with a minimum group of 4 people, upon request and subject to fleet availability.
STARTING POINT: Departure from the port of Vigo and arrival at the port of Portosín, a 4-day journey (+ 90 nautical miles), where we sail through the Rías of Vigo, Pontevedra, Arousa, Muros, and Noia.
Itinerary – XACOBEAN NAUTICAL JOURNEY
Day 1 • VIGO
Arrival at the airport and/or train station. Transfer. We welcome the pilgrim at the port of Vigo (Real Club Náutico de Vigo). Depending on the arrival time, the pilgrim can settle in (luggage without wheels on board) and enjoy the day on their own to explore the city, its old town, the port area, the main streets, or even take a guided tour.
Tonight, you will experience dining at the Michelin-starred restaurant “Silabario,” known for its elaborate gastronomic proposal as well as its unique location under the avant-garde steel and glass dome (154 triangular pieces), covering the stately building where the headquarters of the Real Club Celta de Vigo is located.
Day 2 • VIGO – CANGAS – ISLAS CÍES – BAIONA (25 miles)
Breakfast. The sailing journey begins. We set sail for Baiona, the official starting port (Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona). Stop to stamp our credential in Cangas and explore this fishing village. 1 and a half hours stop.
We embark to head towards the Cíes Islands and have time for lunch anchored in this unique paradise. Evening navigation to dock in the town of Baiona, where we stamp the credential and spend the night. Dinner not included.

Day 3 • BAIONA – ISLAS DE ONS – SANXENXO – PORTONOVO (30 miles)
Breakfast. We depart from Baiona towards the Ons Islands (Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia).
Stop for lunch and taste its famous cuisine. In the afternoon, we stop in Sanxenxo (1 and a half hours stop) to stamp our credential and take a walk.
At dusk, we head towards Portonovo to spend the night. Dinner not included.

Day 4 • PORTONOVO – O´GROVE – VILANOVA DE AROUSA (35 miles)
Breakfast. We depart from Portonovo towards San Vicente do Mar (O Grove) to stamp our credential and take a walk in this beautiful coastal area (1 and a half hours stop).
Navigation entering the Ría de Arousa, where from the boat, we will observe the islet of Rúa (cannot stop), Xidoiro Areoso, and pass by Illa de Arousa (cannot disembark), where we will have a picnic on board anchored.
In the afternoon, we stop at the port of Vilanova de Arousa to stamp our credential and spend the night. Dinner not included. Accommodation.
Day 5 • VILANOVA DE AROUSA – RIBEIRA – PORTOSÍN (50 miles)
Breakfast. We head towards Ribeira to visit this fishing village, stamp the credential, and visit a seafood and fish market. Lunch at the Ribeira Club and in the afternoon, we head towards the Ría de Muros and Noia to reach Portosín and spend the night. Before that, we will stop in Muros, an unmatched fishing village, for a walk (1-hour stop). Night at the Portosín Yacht Club. Dinner not included. Accommodation.
Day 6 • PORTOSÍN – MILLADOIRO – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Disembark and a vehicle takes us to Milladoiro to walk the last 7 km, mandatory to obtain our Compostela and reach Santiago de Compostela for the final stretch of the Portuguese Way.

Day 7 • SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast. Meeting with your guide for a private city tour, lasting a maximum of 4 hours. If you wish to visit the Portico, you must do it on your own, with the guides of the enclosure and in a group since our guides are not allowed to provide explanations inside. Accommodation.
Day 8 • SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
